Quebec's English-speaking Populations According to the 2011 National Household Survey and the 2011 Census of Canada
Abstract
This report presents tables on the size, proportion and age structure of the English-speaking populations of Quebec at various levels of health geographies. The information is drawn from two Statistics Canada surveys, namely, the 2011 National Household Survey (NHS) and the 2011 Census of Canada (Census). This document is intended to: provide an easy reference point for information on population size, proportion and age structure; clarify the variances in the population count and percentages that arise from the different sampling strategies of the Census and National Household Survey. The report consists of two tables, namely: An overview of Quebec and the RSS regions, showing Census and NHS populations counts; A detailed table, showing Census and NHS population counts for CSSS and CLSC territories.
