Abstract
This Guide provides institutions with a common provincial framework It describes the steps institutions must follow to develop their access program for health and social services in the English language (hereafter “access program”). It takes three key principles into consideration: the relationship between effective communication and successful clinical interventions; the needs expressed by the English-speaking community with respect to access to health and social services in their language; the assessment of results in a context of continuous improvement.
